About Dr. Kafilat Oseni, PhD, LPC, CPCS, C-PD (she/her)

Dr. Kafilat Oseni, is the founder and Director of Intersecting Minds Counseling and Consulting, LLC. She obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the historical Albany State University. She then continued her education at Argosy University, where she received a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As she continued to pursue her passion, she advanced her skill set by achieving a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University. She has received additional training and certification in the treatment and diagnosing of Personality Disorders, and specializes in the treatment of survivors of narcissistic abuse. Dr. Oseni has also received specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Informed Counseling, both of which she uses as treatment interventions during the counseling process. Her distinct educational attainment in both research and clinical practice has contributed to her ability to work with a diverse client-base providing sound clinical guidance.

Dr. Oseni's ongoing dedication to the field of counseling and professional development has also allowed her to obtain certification as a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), rendering post-master's clinical supervision, consultation, and professional development services through her practice. 

Dr. Oseni has truly found purpose in integrating her passion for both counseling and education, which is reflected in her life's work.
